Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent “A Day In Her Shoes” campaign.  On July 30, passionate abolishionists from all over the globe, including Australia, Romania, USA and UK, wore heels for the day to raise awareness of human trafficking and raise funds for Abolishion’s prevention programs in Romania.  

Many people in Romania are vulnerable to traffickers simply because they do not understand the tricks traffickers use.  Here at Abolishion, we want to make these techniques known to the most vulnerable in our community.  The funds raised from this years’s A Day In Her Shoes Campaign will go a long way to making this happen.

We want to make a special mention of Asmaa Hasanein, from Melbourne, Australia, for topping our leaderboard for fundraising.  Asmaa got all her friends behind the campaign and managed to raise a whopping $1,450.  Thank you so much Asmaa for showing us all what we can do when we put our minds to it.  It really is possible to make a difference and fight human trafficking!
